U7135 crom's and general q's

Post by Towelette »

Looking for a copy of U7135 9r12 and 9r28.

Im going to assume this is normal, but the increased rpm range when just "cruising" is normal? So the car sits around 3k rpm at 60mph, to me it's a high cruising rpm, just wondering. This is on a 05 Magnum RT.

Shift firmness, seems a bit jerky, even when on stock seems a bit jerky, but this is to be expected on any performance tune?

I have the 91 CAI installed now, running 93 octane. Should I go to 93 tune, afraid I won't be able to find 93 everywhere I go? Can I run 93 and put 91 and be safe, but don't do this longterm?

Thanks everyone.

cruise rpm is not affected by the tunes....

shift firmness should not be affected when you dont choose to change it.

Dont run 91 with the 93 tune loaded...

Thanks for the files Mikel.

My stock tune cruising at 60mph is 1800rpm, with the 91 CAI its roughly 3000rpm. If its not affected, what could be causing this then?

Even with stock firmness when tune is enabled, its has alittle kick on the shift, and on stock its smoother, sooo....

I can get use to the firmness of the shift, but the higher cruising rpm doesn't really make sense to me.

Thanks.

Mikel,

No idea what was wrong. I uploaded my stock tune and then reapplied the 91 CAI and all seems to be fine. Same RPM, smooth shifts.

Thanks for the files.
