Setting Injector Slope

Post by Hummie2 »

I have an old GMS Predator 990917 (U7190?) Mfg date 09/02, software rev1.03, hardeware rev. 1.00. I it bought for a 03 H2 Hummer VIN code U.

I have larger tires and been running it on 87 tune with the timing bumped slightly. I just installed the 93 performance tune and tweaked the shift pressures and shift time some. WOW! Driveability is great and MPG improved. :D

How do I adjust the injector slope? My LTFTs are about + 8.2 @ cruise. All I see on the menu is PE @ WOT. There is no other fuel trim adjustment. Knock ret. is 0 @WOT, but 02 is about .800 on a WOT pass.

When will a U7195 w/ datalogging be available? I would like to upgrade.

Thanks.

The version you have does not have those parameters, you would need to send it in to us for an update.
There are no plans on datalogging in that unit, hardware limited.

yes, that's what it sounds like he's saying... there are no plans to make that tool able to save logs. it is a limitation of the hardware - so in order to make it to be able to save logs, they would have to make a whole new model predator anyway. those older model predators do not have the memory space available.

No guys...what he has here is NOT a U7195...it is a H2 specific tool that was only produced for a short time here, and that tool is done, out of production.

Thanks

Thanks Johan & Mikel

1) Any release date on the datalogging U7195? I would like to move up to a better tool.

2) Can I still get a $99 trade-in allowance if I send you my rare old antique on the purchase of a new U7195?
