which tune you recommend? New Tuner

Post by dtoulet »

Hi i just bought my I2 Tuner and i would like to know what tune do you recommend to get the best MPG.

i have a 2010 5.3L silverado pickup and i always use 92 octane gas. which tune do you recommend between the diablo tune or the MPG booster.

I´ve read some treads saying they use the 87 tune for daily driving, but i don´t know which one should i use.

what are the differences between the 3 pre loaded tunes? i have had a hard time finding info describing the differences.

Thanks

I would test them each out. See what you like and don't like if so on each tune. Then send the tunes to a custom tuner like myself. And have a custom tune built.

If you use good 92 octane gas, then install the Diablo Tune.. you will have better power/performance with the Diablo Tune and 92 octane gas, since the timing is set higher for the higher octane.

The 87 octane tune and mpg booster tune are for 87/89 octane and just use stock timing settings...
