2015 Mustang GT Steeda 93 tune issues

Post by Showcar »

Just installed the Steeda cold air tune and Steeda CAI with out restrictor in the vehicle. Started vehicle and it idles like it had a cam in it or a vacuum leak. Verified no leak with 18-22 inches of vacuum at idle. Drove the car and the rpm hangs. I removed the tune and CAI. Installed stock air box and 93 tune and the car runs great! Sent a email to support and hoping to get some help. Anyone else have issues? I searched and saw one issue on this forum.

this should not be acting up but i will be more than happy to fix. can i get you to install the cold air intake and the tune again and get a datalog of it idling warmed up and also a datalog of it driving around? it REALLY sounds like it has a vacuum leak. espically with the hanging idle. but if you are sure its not, let me know and send me a datalog and i'll get you set up

Just to be clear the idle does not hang, the rpm's hang when driving the car and depressing the clutch pedal. I thought the car had a leak too so I used propane to verify it and there are zero leaks. Ill install it all and datalog it. Do you have a email to send it to? Thank you.
