I have a 2015 silverado 5.3 with the 6 speed. I run the 87 tune and the hard shift tcm tune. Even with the options I've chosen, I still find driving around on "tow/haul" with grade braking off is, by far, the best.

With a custom tune, can you make the "regular" transmission mode behave like it does when its in tow/haul?

In my opinion, the engineers kind of phoned it in... gave it the ol' college try so to speak when they wrote the tune for these tuners. I like having the configurable options, but the tcm tunes are not much better than stock.

can copy tow/haul mode shift points to regular mode, yes..

but you can also just push your tow/haul mode button on the dash.. same thing

Haha, yeah, I get that... but, it's annoying to have to push it every time. Thanks for the quick reply.
