bought used i-1000 questions

ive bought a used i-1000 for my 2005 escalade esv with the 6.0

is there any known issues with installing this? i had a predator once before that locked up the ecm and had to be replaced. i wanted to make sure there wasnt any bugs or any special firmware i had to be on for the older truck i have.

Shouldn't have any trouble, as long as you don't have any aftermarket electronics plugged in while loading tunes.

Is the intune still being updated for new vehicles? Say a 2016 silverado?

yes.. the 2016's are already supported.. if you ran the updater on the intune, then it's good to go.. will already have the necessary updates/fixes to support the new vehicle..

No, i1 will not likely work on your 16, we havent added new cals to it for some time.....

you push updates for the trinity and intune i2030.. why would you not also push the update for the intune i1000??? you guys need to step it up then.. LOL

I've done a few that had i1000's I believe..

If it made it to an i1000 build it was an early cal and no new ones have been added yes, so its not good for me to say yes, it will work for anyone in that case...
