Hello,
I recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 that has a Ripp supercharger installed. Since it did not have the tuner with it I purchased a unmarried T1000 tuner so I would have one. The jeep runs great but I didn't like not being able to restore it if anything electrical happened. After getting the tuner I went online and did all the updates to the firmware then went out to try and get a backup saved and get the following message " trinity cant backup because already a trinity tune ". After trying a couple of times to get it to work I went and just made a change to the tire size to just make sure the tuner was working which it did without issue. I was wondering if there is a way to force the unit to make a backup copy of my existing tune? Again the Jeep runs fantastic as is so I don't know if it is a custom tune or just a canned tune from Ripp. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Rick

Re: Tune back-up issue
No, if you wish to tune it we can force the tool to load a stock file but then you'll have to somehow obtain a custom tune for the supercharger and reload it, I would honestly suggest leaving it along
