2014 Silverado 5.3L

Post by swill72 »

Loaded my 91 Tune last weekend (playing with E85 gas) and had no issues. Forgot to turn off the speed limiter, went to adjustable perimeters and after resetting it, it lands back on the write to vehicle screen. Yesterday, went to reload the 87 tune and when I hit the green check to load, it takes me back to the write to vehicle screen. Thinking maybe the load was hung up, I reset to factory and it worked fine, went to load the 87 tune again, same problem. So at this point I have no tune loaded on vehicle, but at least the truck runs (boy can you tell the difference in stock vs tune....sucks big time!!!). After seeing others with issues I see the loaded the files from their tune folder, so mine are attached. I will wait for a response to call....thanks.

PS- I should note that I did do an update yesterday, hoping that would fix it and it did not fix the problem.

My next question is this, how do I get my programs to have my tire size, without me having to put it in each time. I went to a slightly smaller tire from what I had (they rubbed)

Old: 325/60/20
New: 35x12.5x20 (318/60/20)

When I do put that tire size in my speedo reads 4mph faster than GPS, but I guess that is what it is........

Thanks,

Scott

so it never give you the option to load a tune at all?
Just selects it then goes back to previous menu?
