Hi there, I am running into an error when trying to save my original config. I had already backed up my original config(once), then modified your Diablo Tune tire size and turned off Speed Limit and uploaded. This appeared to work OK, the Trinity backed up my original config, then loaded the Diablo tune with my modified parameters. Well, being a little OCD, I noticed that with the tire size entered, my speedo was about 2 km/h off from my GPS(where it was bang-on before the tune) so I thought, "Why not revert back to factory, and NOT enter the tire size this time?" So I tried that.

I appeared to revert back to my original tune, and then when trying to load the Diablo (or 87 octane, or MPG tune), I keep getting an error when the Trinity gets to 100% of backing up the PCM. The message is "Internal flash map size error (1572864) on Original Backup TCM"

Selecting 'Continue', I then get "Original Backup TCM NOT SAVED (0)."

Follwed by "Trinity was unable to save your original tune."

Then "Not tuning vehicle because of backup (4)"

I searched the forums and saw that there was some sort of issue on "2014 Silverado/Sierra PCM Recall update" from back in Feb 2014 where you guys updated a crom file and posted it.

Is this something similar? Any ideas what I need to do to get my Trinity working with my truck again?

options/change trans type, select manual, and then it will work, as we dont support the 8 speed tcm yet.

Hey hey powdrdog, did that work for you? I'm having the same problem with mine.

It does work. I had to do it with my 2015 6.2l midnight edition.

Sorry, yep, worked like a charm.

8 speed is supported now, restore the stock tune, update your device then reload and if your TCM is up to date you'll have TCM tunes
