Backup corrupted

Hey guys. Just bought a trinity second hand, dont need a lecture on that since it came unmarried and hooked right up. I installed the 91 octane tune and ran it around town, loved it. I then installed the software on my computer and went to see if the trinity needed to be updated.

A message came up telling me to restore my orignal settings before i could update. However, i accidentally hit the force update button like an idiot. Now im getting messages when i try and change tunes telling me that my backup is corrupted. I messed around with it for a while and finally got the diablo tune installed, but no luck on my 91 octane. Any suggestions.

Guess the forums is dead. Ill look for the answer somewhere else. Wish i had know there was no support before i made the purchase

it was the weekend man.. nobody there on the weekend.. Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm....

doesn't sound like it was really unlocked/reset if it told you to restore backup first before updating it.. and forcing someone elses backup onto your truck is not good..

Sorry for the crude reply, Saturday was not a good day for me. The Trinity was unlocked, it was after hitting the force update button after i installed my 93 octane tune on. Will give your support a call. Thanks

Still a no go. Got the trinity reset but i had the diablo tune installed, so i have no backup of my original pcm. Anyone know what to tell the dealership?

resetting was not ideally the fix here, but the dealer cant see the tune, let them do their thing and flash it back to stock for you.
