Vehicle not Supported

Hello! new to this so I hope I'm placing this in the right area, if not someone can please lend a hand.
Just got my tuner (i-1000) plugged into my vehicle (2000 Chevy Tahoe w/5.3) and I get "Vehicle not supported pop up." I was under the impression that it is supported is not?! any help is greatly appreciated!
