I am wanting to buy a tuner for my 2006 Dodge Diesel. I want to know if you set it back to stock setting, will the dealer be able to tell that there was a tuner hooked up to it? I am going to buy the Diablosport Predator. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey thanks for the help. I have been looking for a while for a tuner, and have decided on the predator. This was my one concern, as I dont have many miles on my truck and want to keep the warranty. Thanks again.

I've had mine at the dealer 3 times in three weeks. They did question me about the programmer, I played dumb!

BUSHHAWG, note that Herculou said "its supposed to be fixed" and I would key in on the words "supposed to". Since your new to the forum, I would suggest taking a hour or 10 to read all the problems that people have had with the tuner. I am not saying that these problems aren't experienced with other products (I haven't owned any others to compare it too) But my word of advice from my experience would be not to mail order one but rather to purchase a product from a qualified aftermarket installer that will back it themselves. This way if you have any problems, you deal with it locally with the shop rather than have to wait on updates from diablosport. It my not be the cheapest way to go but if I could do it again, I would have done that for sure. I am still waiting to see if the 9r01 update addressed all the problems it is claimed to fix. If so, then the Predator will be great and I will have nothing but praise for it. But allas, I can't get the tune into my truck and I am waiting on help with that problem. Good luck in your decision.
