Trinity t 1000 lost oem tune

So I bought a used trinity and I guess messed up backing up oem tune. Can I get a oem tune
From trinity? The tuner has locked me out now. The vin for loaded tune doesn't match my vin. Somehow it loaded a zo6 tune in my base 2016 c7 corvette. The car isn't driveable now.. what options do I have. If I go to dealer for reflash it would need to be towed and they would know something was tampered with.

It never said backing up oem file. I just clicked on install diablo tune and it installed it..

only way to get it back to stock factory GM programming is to have your dealer flash the car back to stock...

it sounds like the tool was in recovery and restored a previous vehicles tune to your car, really something you have to be leery of when buying used devices.
Will need a dealer to reflash it likely.

Yes unfortunately to the dealer you go just happen to me as well on my brand new truck that I had a trinity go out on me. diablo did well and gave me a brand new unit but only way I could use it was a reflash. Now I am to nervous to use it. Going back to a intune.

Lesson learned 100% never buy used!! Ever!! I spoke with tech support today
Unit was in recovery mode and loaded his tune in my car.. I pulled ecm tonight and sending
It in tommorrow with the tuner to diablo. One thing I must say diablo has exceptional customer service!!
There gonna get me up and running again. As far as the comment about the tune if they recommend a intune
I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Can't speak highly enough to the way I have been treated thus far!
