8R01/8R07 U7191

I just received a U7191 for my '05 SSR but the it's ver8R01 and not 8R07. What is the difference and should I get the 8R07?

There was one revision in there that was done to address the fact that the 05 SSR tune was not available.
Go ahead and try installing the tune.
If it says tune not available, you will need to update.
There have also been some slight changes in some of the adjustable parameters that would be worth updating for in the future.

what?? sent it back??? you don't have to send anything back... the 8r07 is a downloadable update from diabo's site... you download the file, hook up the predator to your computer using the PC interface kit (power supply and serial cable), download the software and instructions, and then update the predator by loading the 8r07 file into it.

I hope you didn't ship it back to someone??? D'OH!

the power supply and serial cable don't come with the Predator, you have to buy them separately... they are available from here as the PC Interface Kit, item number U7777...

our models are updatable via downloads, we don't ever have to send them back anywhere to get updated. It's just a matter of getting all the right stuff together.
