Vehicle Not Supported?

Post by 2011EcoBeast »

Hello, I recently acquired (well, today.) a Intune I-1000 from a fellow F150 Ecoboost owner on one of the Ecoboost forums. He claimed he had it on his 2011 F150 Ecoboost, which is the same year as my truck. I ensured it was unmarried/unlocked. I received it in the mail today. Took it out of the original box he shipped it to me in and went to plug it into my truck. Seems to be working fine, read my vin, checked DTCs even though I knew I had none. Go to add a tune to my truck and it starts loading, then says "Your vehicle is not supported, please contact Diablosport." or something along those lines. OK, so I thought maybe it needs an update. Take it back inside, hook it up to the laptop and update it, that goes smoothly. Go back out to my truck and try again, same outcome. So I start looking through the device info, my VIN loaded to the device, licensed still said 0/1 which I assume it means it is still unmarried because I never got to load a tune. Then when I go to check out the firmware info, everything is OK, EXCEPT the Ford Tune database, it says it is "missing(c)" whatever that means. I can't find any type of support download on the website that lets me update or download this to the device.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or do I need to attempt for a refund. I owned nothing but Fords so this device is completely useless without having Ford tune files on it.

Thanks.

I'm having the same trouble with my 2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7L. Any thoughts on how to get this to support it?
