I am hoping you can enlighten us on this new revision, i could not find much info on this. What changes have occured since the last revisions. Thanks.

This update was done for:
*fix for calibration update not working for early 05 build cars.
*fix for rear 02 config not turning off all CEL's, mainly p0138 and p0158
*fix for error when loading a custom tune before taking a backup

No tune changes where done vs r20.

Thanks for the new version, as I'll be switching to it ASAP, thanks to my constant rear o2 codes popping up. But, a question; my mods are as follows;
AFE Stg II air intake
180-stat
Magnaflow high-flow converters
Zoomers cat-back exhaust
I live in Oklahoma, where 91 octane is the highest rating. Obviously I plan on installing the 91 oct, CAI tune, just like I did with version r19. But, with all the talk about adding fuel, with the above mentioned mods, should I add any fuel to the programming? I added 2% accross the board for the r19 version, but wasn't sure if it was necessary. I'm hoping to get to a dyno soon, or install a wideband o2 sensor.

We did most of our our cold air tune testing with AFE, AIR Hammer and Air raid, you should not need to add any additional fuel using the 9r01 cai tune with your setup.

I want to be clear. I understand about the cold air kits used for testing (I believe I read that a while back, too), which were great choices, but I was concerned about fuel enrichment because of the exhaust mods, the Maganflow cats and Zoomers cat-back. Are those figured into the air/fuel equasion, too? I want to run as good/safe as possible until I can get to a dyno.

Also, I don't know if I should start another thread or not, but, I installed the 9r01 tuning tonight, and as I was adjusting the parameters, I noticed there was no choice for "shift firmness", there was only a "raised shift points" option. Wasn't "shift firmness" an availible option parameter on earlier program versions? If so, why is it removed. If not, sorry for the confusion on my end.

Lastly, since I have an '07 SRT8, if I wanted to, I could switch back to earlier program (I have r16, r17, r18, r19, r20 all saved) versions, correct?

I can't seem to get rid of p0138 and p0158 with the new CROM. I updated to 9r01 hoping I could get the CEL to shut off. Previously as long as the rear 02 heater was on, so was my CEL.

I've tried clearing the codes and they won't go away. The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried is shutting off the rear 02s with the new code. It will probably make the codes go away, but I don't know if they will stay away when I turn them back on or reflash the original tune. Any ideas?

You need to go to the 02 config parameter and turn them off, that will keep the cel from coming on.
It will come back on when you put your vehicle back to stock.

Any information about "Shift Firmness" missing from 9r01?

The shift firmness has never been an option for srt8's, it is a 5.7L option only.

Is there any way to get the CEL to shut off when you return the car to stock? Why is it on when it was never on before? I thought when you returned it to stock, everything was supposed to be normal...

What is the code?

I'd like to know this answer as well, assuming we are talking about code P0158. Shortly after I returned my car to stock, I received P0158. I reset the code and have not had it back but I have only done a few miles since I cleared the code.

The cats are causing the code to appear not the predator. If you are stock and running magnaflow or JBA HF cats you'll sometimes pop a code. (Has to do with how long the cats take to light off)

If you run stock programming with HF cats you may get the code, the predator disables the codes from appearing.

Not me... I am bone stock... no headers, no HF cats, nothin'. Ordered my Blastin Bob Fat Pipes but we have way too much snow to attempt installing... LOL
