I'm assuming that the 5.3 Silverado and 5.3 GMC Sierra are the same, and will be available at the same time? Are there differences between the 2016 and 2017 5.3's?

I just picked up my 2017 Sierra and will receive my i2 in the mail on Monday. Looking foward to the 2017 5.3L update to be available......

17 has many changes designed to keep you from tuning it, but they are in development currently.
