Unable to get backup tune off Predator (U7134) and on to PC

Like the title says, I tried to get the original back-up tune from my son's Predator last night (I believe it is the U7134 - Neon SRT4). DSdownloader worked fine, connected to the Predator(s) fine, but every time I tried to get the tune off of the Predator, it would initialize, then after a minute of so, stop and go back to the home screen, and say something about an error and no tune saved. I even tried to get the tune off my Predator(same model - different unit), and it did the same thing. I just recently got a new computer (Windows 7) and installed the DSDownloader, and it seemed to download fine and seems to be working fine, other than this. Is there something else I need to do to be able to get the tunes off of the Predator(s), and backed up to my new CPU?

sounds liek the tool is not holding a backup, whats it say for options/show last tune written?

I know you said it something sounds like the Predator is not storing the tune, but it is the same with both my Predator, and my son's Predator. ( 2 different units )

Posting results as I promised. Tried a different cable, still got the same results. So I had a friend download and install DS Downloader on his computer, and tried it. Everything worked fine. Obviously the issue seems to be with the download on my computer.

weird...maybe a bad usb port on your pc>?
