Predator worked fine with 8r18. I wrote a custom tune and had to do the Crom update to 9r20. Now the screen is black on the predator....

Try the contrast screw on the back.

I tried that at first, no go.

Someone will look into this this morning. What is the Predator part number?

can you try putting 8r18 back into the unit, I understand you stated that it worked fine on 8r18 but if in bad luck unit can have gone back during the update (unlikely, but posible), just to rule out hardware.

in previous message I ment "gone bad" not "gone back"

Allready tried forcing the 8r18 back into it, disabling autodetect, express tune and locating crom. Power toggle and it hangs there.

Does the DSDL not autodetect the tool now?
As if there is no main menu being displayed?

No. That's why I tried the option to go with disabling auto detect. It comes up on the front page ofthe dsdl.
