I am the original owner of a Predator LB7 model and I'm told that if I return the truck back to factory settings the Predator is still VIN locked, is this true?

If it is true, what can I do to unlock the VIN so I can sell the Predator as I no longer have a use for it.

I can probably dig up an Ebay receipt if it's still online, it was bought from a business, not an individual and it was brand new never used when I bought it.

The tool needs to be sent here with a copy of the receipt so it can be unlocked and updated if necessary.

I bought it from JD's Performance (jdsperformance.com).
It was a brand new unit.
I bought it from his eBay store and I have the PayPal receipt.
Does that qualify for the no cost unlock?
