Vehicle not supported but ignition failing to update

Hi. Please assist. I have two licenses on the I2. The I2 does not recognize a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon but does recognize a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. When running Ignition it sees 4 updates, but fails to update due to a "Attempted to read 2 files, but they were not found" error.

did you also purchase the unlocked PCM's you need for those vehicles? If you didn't buy the unlocked PCM, then you won't be able to tune them at all...

No, I'm just changing the Tyre sizes not doing any tunes. It allowed me to change Tyre sizes on the 2016 vehicle without the PCM but not on the 2015 vehicle

I have connected the device to the vehicle multiple times and then ran Ignition to update. Without fail Ignition starts to download 4 files, then installs one .drg file after which it tries to reads the backups and fails.

The Diablo can still read and update the tyre sizes on the 2016 vehicle but still cannot recognize the 2015 vehicle.

I'm having a similar problem. Ignition always tells me an update is available, but it doesn't seem to be installing correctly or something.

Does anyone have any suggestions yet for this issue?

the attempt top read is not significant, the device should be up toi date, please post the info.xml file as well as the exact issue you are having.
if trying to do tire size and it tells you the vehice needs an update you cant proceed without a modified pcm.

Thanks

Hi Mike. The support desk managed to resolve the issue. The updates was not functioning properly. They mailed me the update file for the new vehicle and the system subsequently updated correctly, recognized the vehicle and enabled me to make the required changes.
