I bought a U7000 from a vendor. I was told that I could download the program for my 2003 Cobra at home. I have the wires to do so but I don't know what to download to make my predator specific to that vehicle.

Can you help?

ASUSMC, When the predator first boots up when you plug it in. It will say "booting _ _ _" I need to know what it says.

It says booting ees.....

ASUSMC, I need the whole message it gives you when the unit boots up. Note everything it says until it gets to the main screen. The main screen says.. Performance tune/diagnostics/options.

Booting EEC_ready?
Does it then display a different message?

then an american flag picture
then This is a U7000 Tuner Series tool. Please load a Tuner Series Crom file.

I click continue and it tells me to reboot the tuner.

I have the correct Crom file (from you guys) to load my base tune onto it but the computer just isn't recognizing that the Predator is even there. I may need to get different cables but these have worked before on a friends predator.

Are you setting it to Legacy Connect? It will not AutoDetect.

Yes. I did set it to Legacy connect.

What file are you using?
Where did it come from?

The company who supplied me with the Predator sent me the file after he had contacted you guys.
The file name is U7000_cobra-7r12-D.crom. It is a 384 KB file according to my computer
