Can someone please tell me if being able to adjust for gear size and being able to see oil tempature in the gauge display is supposed to be supported for a 2015 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 and 8 speed? I currently can't adjust my gear ratio and I would like to be able to display oil tempature on the trinity while towing so I can keep my trucks dash display on fuel economy. If the display on the truck will show oil temp why won't the trinity?

if the pcm does not report oil temp as a pid, which is rarely the case, we cant display it.
Gear ration adjust is not needed for the 8 speeds, you can just swap gears and it should not affect anything.

My pcm should report it if I can see it on my gauge clusters EVIC display. Can you tell me how oil temp is named? Maybe I am missing it?

just because it is in EVIC doe snot mean there is a PID for it.
I dont think such a PID exists here.
