Well i tried to log yesterday and did the short and long log on the programer but it only logd for 1min 18 sec? It looks like the long injector is around 6.47 though so can i just do -7 to get it in range or do i have to do more loging? seem like everyone is about 5-7 high so can i just -7 to get to the -2 to 0 setting? I tried to hook up the programr to the laptop but it couldn't find conection in ports, i have don it in the past to update to ver.10 but it wouldn't work. So on the new programer i just need to know what to change, in the tune i run the 87 tune and its for a 07 nbs siverado 5.3. I do have the dod off too and did readings in 3rd at 65. thanks josh

yes, if your average ltft's were 6.47 during your normal cruise/driving, then you can adjust your injector slope to -7.
need to figure out your PC setup to get that ocnnection workin' so you can download the logs... cuz now, you won't be able to save another log until you download that one off the Predator... if you go to save another log now, it will just tell you "Log is full"...

but i can still drive and look at the log on the programer, and get a ballpark reading right?
now i'm only concerned about the long term injectoe right

yep...
and yeah... need to see the long term fuel trims...
need to drive at at least 25% commanded throttle position, and be at least at 2200-2500 rpms, and be doing about 60mph... don't drive in your top/highest gear - drive in the next lowest one...

now what kind of things should i notice when i make these changes, do i have to make the changes on both sides or do i just go into the programer and select modify tune and select injector slope and move it left negitve 7 from 0 where it is now right.

there is only 1 injector slope adjustment.. it will affect all of your fueling.
yes, you just go into the programer and select modify tune and select injector slope and move it left negitve 7 from 0 where it is now.
you will notice improved/quicker throttle response, stronger/harder pull and acceleration, better gas mileage..

thanks everyone, i allready read it a bunch of time but sometimes its better to be sure

I'll let you know how it runs, hopeful better gas mpg!! Its a 2007 Silverado with a 6 inch lift and 35's with 3.73 so its a bit doggy at 65-70...it really needs 4:10 but i really dont want to do that now!! At 65-70 its only at 1800-1900 and its feels like there is no power, but if i drive at 75 and the rpm get up to 2200 then its great!!! I get 13.5mpg now with the dod on but hopefuly with the fuel slope adjustment, dod off i atleast maintain the 13.5 and have a bit more cruiseing power at 70!!

I ended up going 5 to the left on the programera and my DIC says that i'm getting 2mpg better...is that posiable, i was getiing 13.5 now 15.5, i cant believe thhat its posiable with the lift and big tires? Anyways the truck runs awesome, huge difference on the highway ut ripes if i step on it at 65.....im just having a hard time believing the difference fron just changing one thing. Im going to full up and do a mpg on paper, maybe it screw up the dic computer or something.

yup... that will happen..

all is well... that's what adjusting the fueling is all about!
you'd probably even get a little more if you went to -6%...
anyway, congrats!!
