2017 GM 8 Speed Tuning

I know there is no support right now for 2017 8 speeds, but I was just wondering if that project has been aborted or will you guys continue to try to crack it.

cracking it ideally means removing it from the vehicle, and we are not sure there is a huge market for people wanting to remove their pcms, pay us to modify them, and then send them back so they can be tuned...we'll have to see.

Well what I really meant is are you still working on TCM tuning for 2017 8 speeds or are they impossible to tune?

they are impossible to tune as they sit, you have to remove it from the vehicle and send it somewhere to have it modified, then you get it back and can tune it, we are looking into offering an option like this.

Why are they impossible to tune you have do e the 6 speed foe years and there is a huge demand i bought a i2000 total waste of money with out the tcm tune

Because GM locked them down.
Only one company offers means to tune them and it requires removing the tcm and shipping it to them, then buying their software and building the tune yourself once the tcm has been unlocked, its quite expensive and tough to do to a daily driver.
