Fuel and Predator Questions

I have a couple fuel octane questions:
1. What if I was running the 91 CAI tune and could only locate 89 octane because of whatever reason (left predator at home too).. What damage could be done to my car?
2. What if I was running the 93 CAI tune and could only locate 91 octane because of whatever reason (left predator at home too). What damage could be done to my car?
3. The worse case scenerio, running 93 CAI... out of town, running on fumes and can only find 89 octane (left predator at home too). I am assuming that there is a potential for some serious detination?
Thanks!

As long as the knock sensors are enabled, they'll cut the timing. If you have them turned off, better start looking for a short block, because your pistons will be toast.

Why would you leave your Predator at home? I always carry mine.
Question:
If you were "out of town" and had to go to a dealer for "emergency" maintenance requiring a PCM flash....what would you do? You wouldn't be able to put it back to stock if they had to mess with it. Plus, when you get home you get to have the Predator reset by the folks at DS for $??. It's probably a remote possibility, but not worth the additional headache for me.

I won't mind putting it under the sub-floor in my magnum once the warmer weather is here... I have an aluminum briefcase that carries my predator, dashhawk, all cables, a mini windows XP laptop and some documentation that fits under the floor.....I just don't like to expose LCD screens or delicate electronics to -30 temperatures in the winter.

Gotcha!! Probably not a bad idea. I do the same (without the case), but mine is seldom where it is that cold.....heated garage, or I am in it with the heater on. If I were on a trip I'd probably take it in the hotel room with me.....maybe do a DS tune on the wife, LOL.

My wife things I am crazy! I don't leave it in the car in case I have a break in, however, there is that nice hiding place in the back of the magnum that would be hard to find anything which is where it may end up. Getting out of bed to get my predator from the car is a bit much. She has no idea what it is or does. I am still trying to get her to learn the remote. But, that is a thought, I would hate to get caught without it in the car.

Easy answer to all 3 questions:
Keep your foot out of it.
As long as you stay out of WOT or heavy load situations, you should be fine.
Thanks
