Hi,

I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 2wd with the 5.3 and 6L80 transmission. When I disable AFM\DOD the truck is still switching in v4 mode. I have tried modifying the stock tune to disable this and modifying the 87 tune (the tune I would like to use). With both of these I am still going into v4 mode.

As it stands now i am running the modified 87 tune with DOD disabled.

CROM version = 'gm_can_gas-1r13w 04/12/2017 06:00:46 PM boot3'
Name: PCM, TuneID: 87 Octane Tune, Modified: yes, Lock: No, Erased: No
Any ideas on how I can disable DOD?

please restore the stock tune to the vehicle then load this update.
Then reload the tunes and let us know if the AFM disable is working.

I loaded the CROM then installed the modified 87 tune (DOD\AFM disabled). Unfortunately I'm still going into v4 mode. Please let me know if I can provide anything to help get this sorted out. I won't be able to do any uploads or get details from the tool until tonight sometime.

Please export a new copy of the backup and last tune written files from the trinity and post them here.

save the attached file to the trinity then load it to the truck.
if there is still an issue with AFM coming on, please post a new copy of the pcm last tune written and we'll check it out.

Please let me know also when someone has the correct update or solution to this problem. Been back and fourth with different updates and even tried a custom tune.

Unfortunately I am still going into v4 mode. Here is the tune that was loaded. Please let me know next steps. I appreciate the help!
It shows modified but that is just because I went in and confirmed AFM was disabled before loading. No parameters were changed.

Has the problem been corrected? When will a update work with the truck?

we have resolved this.

restore the stock tune to the vehicle, load this update, then all the params will work.
