Torque management and towing????

Whats the consensus on towing with torque management off? I'm not finding much through the search bar. Any opinions? I have an intune and its currently off. Wondering if I should put it back on if I'm going to be towing. I have a 2012 GMC Sierra with the 5.3. 6 speed transmission. :D
