We may need to look into that, not sure what it entails.

Thanks

I've been reading some dealerships are doing this at the computer level. they modify a digit in each corner...not sure if they are modifying the sensor directly or if its going through the PCM
. I suspect pcm though

You can use the wiTech software (Chrysler's scan tool basically) to change the calibrated ride height in normal mode. This is to allow calibration of the system for variances in the ride height sensors, new sensors, etc. But, the things you cannot change are:

1) The ride heights at the different modes. They are set and referenced against the normal ride height calibration.
2) The speed of the mode changes or the speeds allowable in a given mode. These are not diagnostic or calibration routines and are therefore not accessible.
This is also how they fix issues when we report that one side of the truck sits higher than the other.. supposedly each sensor has to be calibrated. so for this to work I suspect it would have to be read, and a value added to the read value.. since the starting value for each sensor may be different...

This is an interesting thing for sure. I will try and determine what module this is part of. It may not be a PCM function..

Most likely in the BCM.

That's what I was thinking too.. which may make it easier to reach. (don't think the body control module is locked down like the pcm is)

But until we can confirm that we are able to adjust the values using a wiTECH and not throw codes.. is a bit of a non-starter.

Anyone following this post, I was able to change my Air ride values with a program called AlfaOBD. The air ride is a separate module (ASCM) and not in the ECU.
