Newbie with oldie u7170

Just joined and hope I can get some guidance. I purchased a'99 7.3 diesel RV that has a u7170. The truck only has 26k miles. Should I try and still use the Predator, scrap it, try and update it or ....? Thanks for what comments come

personally, id leave it alone if its already tuned and running well...
