I just got the diablosport trinity T1000 today. My vehicle is a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 4.8L. I downloaded all the drivers and software that is current. I also updated my trinity as well. Well in my truck I have led headlights, aftermarket touchscreen radio, subs, aftermarket door speakers, led interior lights, I disable all of it. Pulled the radio fuse. I hooked the trinity up to the truck and then tried to install the diablotune. Then it says it can't download the original pcm back up and then it tries again and then fails again. Then says something about it may have a performance tune already on it. Which is impossible because it's never been tuned. I paid $600 for this and it's not even wanting to work. I've tried everything. I mean the error codes is (-30) I think & (-1) for sure. It's not wanting to back up the original pcm from the start.

low battery voltage - make sure your battery has a good full charge..

Also, any aftermarket wiring harnesses still connected.. You need to make sure anything aftermarket is disconnected/pull the fuse for - anything like aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, nav, alarm, remote start, seat heaters, trailer brake/light setup, etc.. anything like that, their wiring harnesses need to be disconnected & pull the fuses for it before you try to tune anything...

also make sure everything is turned off inside the truck.. lights, radio, heat/fan/blower, do not operate power windows, put your parking brake on, etc...

I unhooked everything completely. And it doesn't say on the trinity low battery. I should have plenty of battery.

trinity won't show anything about the battery in your vehicle being low man.. a low battery voltage WILL cause install/read issues like you are experiencing..

put a battery charger on your vehicle overnight... and then try again in the morning...

Let's say I do this and it still doesn't work then what else could it be?

When my truck isn't running it's running 12-13v. That should be good right?

The error codes are -11, -11, and then 4.

you disconnected the aftermarket stereo harness behind the dash that tied it into the factory harness?

I unplugged the amp from the battery and I pulled the head unit stereo out of the dash and unplugged everything connecting to it. I also pulled the radio fuse.

I never undid any harness just disconnected all the wires and cords that was connected to the touchscreen head unit. And then I pulled the head unit out. And then tried the trinity but would never back up the original pcm.

if there is an aftermarket harness that connects the radio to the factory harness, it needs to be disconnected.

So yesterday I got the tune to work and everything went perfectly fine. Disconnecting the aftermarket harness did the trick. I feel like an idiot.
