torque management
torque management
Folks perhaps I have been asking the wrong question about turning off the TM in my LS2 powered SSR. The car goes flat on its nose when you got to WOT from a dead stop and does not seem to come alive until about 15 to 20 MPH as apposed to a rolling start at that speed where the car comes alive intstantly. I thought this was the engine TM but what I am reading on this site is that with my u7191 this is already turned off?? I know it works better in 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but from a dead stop it appears to still have way to much tm, am I confused. I can break the tires loose from a rolling start but NEVER from a dead start. Thanks

RE: torque management
go into "modify parameters" and if you see torque management, turn off the first two options, leave the third on...
if you dont see that option in there, it may already be reduced in your tune.

Re: torque management
TM is reduced in the LS2 auto tunes, but not eliminated.brianc wrote:Folks perhaps I have been asking the wrong question about turning off the TM in my LS2 powered SSR. Part of the problem in the SSR is the tremendous weight of the vehicle.
I have had some success with writing custom tunes for a few people with the SSR A4 LS2 with nice results.
If youd like to give it a shot, email me a copy of the stock tune and tell me what octane you run, and I'll make you a new tune.
Thanks
