Well I finally down loaded the new updates for the U7131. I had giving up,but a friend told me to just try it, so I did., there's a big improvement in all my complaints, but I still have some surging issues. It's not as bad as it was before, but it's better. It's still a little concerning, but I think I can live with it as long as it doesn't mess my truck up. Is there any away to add the key counts back now or can you only save them on the U7131, I'm just still concernd, because my 06 has 34,000 miles on it. I was also curious if you order a U7131 now, will it come with all these new updates now or do you have to update them still ?

Glad to hear this.
We really do want you guys to be happy with the tool, whether you bought it this week or 2 years ago.
As of now, your key counts will no longer reset, so unless you end up in the dealer like this week, there should be no real issues.
All new tools are currently in production with this update.
Thanks
Any Date on New production U7131 ?

Well, the problem is that if you order from a dealer with old stock, it will not have the update.
Everything we have shipped in the last week or so has the new crom on it already, but its tough to track those tools down.
The update process is simple enough though, no?
Thanks
I agree !

Yeah I know, I tried to explain it to him, but he seen me go through that frustration stage with the programmer, but most all my issues are reolved now ,but the slight surging. I'm just going to tell him to order it strait from diablo sport and he can request what he wants.

Pick up a day laborer to turn your key switch on and off for a half a day. Should'nt cost you more than $50-$70.
