9r01 Update - Is TCM Abuse Mode Removal Finally Available?

There's another thread regarding a person who just purchased a new Predator and it has a 9r01 update on it. What is the difference between the 9r01 and the 8r10? I ask because it's supposedly on his Predator, but it's not available for download in the support section of the website.
PLEASE tell me that this is the update we've all been waiting for!!! Is this the update with accessibility to the TCM's abuse mode?
PLEASE FILL US IN ON THIS NEW UPDATE!!!
Thanks...

Asked this same question on the post you were referring to.
The guys talking about 9R01 but it's not even available to download from this website.
Never heard anything about it before!

What's going on Montaaaaaaayyyyyy!?!?
I have the U7194, but the last revision for it shows as being 8r10. I've been checking, hoping and praying for the release of 8r11, so that I could have control over the GM abuse mode in the transmission. Today, though, I noticed in another thread that someone had a 7194 with revision 9r01 loaded on it, so I wondered what this new revision (which is NOT available on the website) actually had added over the 8r10 revision. If it's the ability to control GM's abuse mode in the tranny, I'll go have a glass of Black Label in celebration!!!
Can anyone answer this question for me, PLEASE!!!

That someone is probably me, I have the Predator with 9r01 on it.
If you want me to take a look in the U7194 menu if there is 'GM abuse mode control' (whatever that is), I will be happy to do it. You will have to give me some direction, I am pretty new to all this.

Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn't know where to begin. There has to be something in that menu that says something about the transmission (at least I hope it's there!).

You're welcome. I pushed some buttons to see if I could anything about transmissions (apart from the choice between manual and automatic) and I think the thing needs to be connected to the car to be able to see the menu in the first place.
So it will have to wait until it is actually connected. Which is probably soon, because my problem with the DoD is not yet solved.
I have used the Predator yesterday, but I can't recall any reference to transmissions.
In the meantime, you will have to wait or a response from the boys at Diablo.

hey Sniper.. got your answer...
yes, there is a 9r01 revision update, but nothing has changed from the 8r10 revision...
it's a new revision for the newer predators being built due to some different/new hardware being used in the predators...

nope... it's just to support the new hardware used in the new predator... no changes to any tunes or anything...
