ECU requires an unlock to tune it. Contact customer service

Post by Scatpackkc »

I installed my unlocked pcm purchased new with the trinity t1000. I downloaded dsdownloader to my computer. I connected the trinity to the car and began to download the 93 octane tune. I followed the instructions on saving the stock backup. Once it was saved to the tuner I went in and saved it to the computer. Then I went back to the car to install the 93 octane tune and get the screen “ECU requires an unlock to tune it please contact customer service” and won’t let me get into any of the tunes.

So Apparently after having my Trinity T1000 for less than 1 month and getting to program my Dodge one time with it a chip burned out in it and I had to send it to Ogden Utah to get it fixed well they fixed it all right now it won't recognize SD cards and it won't talk to the goddamn computer in the truck so can somebody please tell me what the hell I spent $645 on cuz this is bullshit :drivingbad:
