I came across my programmer through our business. I dont understand why the years it says are only 1999-2003..I would love to be able to put this on my 1997 f-250..is it possible? My programmer has never been used is the u7170 any good? does it have any major problems? what is it worth?

The tool only supports the PCMs in the 99-03 7.3 trucks, the 97 truck is not supported.
If you want to tune the 97, try a chip.
