t2 EX
just got my t2 Ex and it looks fantastic! it put my tune in the vehicle much faster than the t1000 ever did, however when I try to set up the gauges and logging portion it always says empty default pids list, so I connected it to wifi and attempted to download an update. download of updates failed: could not resolve host name. restored pids and still an empty default pid list. I tried with the ds downloader to update the tool, but the downloader keeps locking up and not responding... any help or ideas would be great

Re: t2 EX
Glad to hear the tuning is working well for you.
As for the error you are reporting, we'd like to look into that for sure.
You'll want to download and install our ignition software to update the T2, it no longer uses DSDL.
If you can provide the device serial number or a copy of the current info.xml file from the T2 drive we'll get this sorted out asap.
Thanks

Re: t2 EX
using ignition the t2 updated flawlessly. still says no pids when setting up the gauges and logging, also same in performance tests. I have included the info.xml file and the device SN is 201088615

Re: t2 EX
I’ll look at the file in the morning. Can you tell me specifically what vehicle it is?
There should be an option in the settings menu to restore default PIDs. Choosing that may resolve the gauge issue. Let me know if you have a chance to test that.
Thanks

Thanks.
When you tried to update via wifi, were you connected to the vehicle or USB power, or both?

Re: t2 EX
OK, if you can take another shot at wifi update while only connected to OBDII to see if you get the same error that would be great.

OK, heres a fix for the gauges.Drebuilders wrote:the update went through, still no pids. I have tried twice to attach a video I recorded while it was updating but I think its too large
Copy/save this fie to the T2 drive and let the device import the file.
Then go to the settings menu and select restore default pids while connected to the vehicle, then when you go to the gauges menu you should have everything you expect to see
Let me know if you have any issues.
Thanks

Re: t2 EX
I installed the new T2 into my 2014 Chrysler 300C AWD. WOW! My very first experience with a tuner. Easy install, a little time consuming making sure all updates are done prior to installing in car, but, went smooth. Noticed an instance increase in HP and Torgue especially coming from a dead stop. Super impressive. Love that the gauges are customize-able and can match the blue lights in my factory gauges. I feel like I have so much to learn still, but look forward to it very much.
Having said that, any tip, tricks or other wise would be greatly appreciated.

You'll find lots of stuff to mess with on the gauges for sure, as you have started to see.
