U7194
Hardware - Univ_rev2
Version - 9r01
07 Silverado NBS WT
4.8 v8
bone stock
Using Philips 66 91 octane
Tune installed Diablo Performance
with WOT Spark set at -10% all ranges per MikeL to accomidate 91 octane.
I installed the tune a couple weeks ago and have been working through Lews tutorial on loging and adjustment. Drove a bit over 100 miles and took a couple logsand ran them throught dslogredux and it says adjust injector slope -3%. Make adjustment and another 60 miles couple more logsand redux says adjust -5%. OK now at a total of -8%. Another 60 miles and a coupe logs later and redux says adjust -6% witch would be -14%??
One of the posts in lews tut sugests that it might not be good to adjust down that low? Also in the last log the ltft's were stuck at 6.25% for the first few seconds then bank 1 stays at 6.25% and bank 2 stays stuck at 7.03%
I just wanted to get some feedback on adjusting the injector slope that far and the stuck ltft on the last log? Anything else I might be missing or should check?
EDIT
Yess I took 3 logs and averaged the results
U7194 has a short log limit - 1Min 16 Sec log
Only Log -
air fuel ratio
commanded throttle position
engine speed
long term fuel trim bank 1 and 2
oxygen sensor voltage bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1
spark advance
total knock spark retard

Goblin,
Are you taking an average for those readings?
The averages should NOT be all over the place like that...
How long were you logging for?
What parameters did you log?
Can you post your log to this thread to let people take a look at it?

no, somethings not right here... something's up with your truck and/or predator... the ltft's should not be all over the place like that and staying positive...
HOWEVER, there's currently an issue with the 7194's where they are not actually making/saving the adjustments... it may look like it - cuz you can make the adjustments and then re-install the tune to your vehicle, but it doesn't actually write those changes/adjustments to your ECM.

We did the 9r02 update for this, as there where issues with parameters not applying. Update to 9r02 and re log it.

a-HA!! Thanks Johan!!
so you need to update your predator like Johan says... then make sure you reset everything back to the default settings of 0, and re-log...

ohhhh, why I oughtta....!!!
yeah, like he said Mike - your "half-a-sticky" says the issue applies to the 8r10 revision, yet mentions nothing about previous revisions being affected as well...
Mike, please feel free to take a look at my stickies at the top of the GM forums as a prime example to follow on how to be clear and concise in your provided information and how they should be written, so as to allow people to actually understand the full gamut of information you are trying to disseminate to the masses.
Hmmm... maybe you guys should freelance someone to write documentation for you...

aaahahahahaha...

Ok, do me a favor, with the tool plugged in, make sure the key is all the way on, and if it says unsupported again, turn the key off then on, without unplugging the tool.
If it still says it, try unplugging the tool then plug it right back in, without turning the key off, and try again.
If this still does not work, let me know please.
Thanks
