predator for LMM

I have to say I'm more then pissed off about this LMM programmer.
DIDNT spend 400+ bucks for a programmer to have to drive 200 miles into town to get on the frucking internet to down load a program to install.
What the *&*&*(( did I pay for?
Turn it on and it says this is a U8000 programmer? not a dam thing in your book explains what that is and without internet support your left in the dam dark.
THis is way jacked up.
Then to top it off your driver software and windows vista have issues and there not windows approved.
So my attitude right now is worse then bad.
I usually get kissed before I get Fu^%ED and this time feels like I got ass raped by a transvestite.
I have a good idea, How about you get the marketing giant that came up with this great plan to sell these older units and offer web updates to make them work for new models to give me a call so I can verbally abuse the hell out of him till I feel I have surpressed the 8hrs of frustration I have gone through with this great marketing scheme.
Ok now the politically correct response.
I have spent better half of the day trying to get my laptop and your programmer to communicate to load this program I spent the first half of the day gathering from the internet, ( in the past I have downloaded programs with my air card and they where corrucpted and made for some tuning nightmares and issues) so I down loaded it at a buddies house in town from T1 connection. Only to get home and not be able to load it.
I am very bummed out I will not be able to install this before my trip now for the weekend because Your office is closed before I get off work and tech support may not be an option till next week.
I showed faith in your product and spent my hard earned money, only to spend alot more money to try and get what I had thought I paid for in the first place.
So please make this right for me So i can refer people in the future to your products and not steer them away.

This just looks like you where sent the wrong part number. I would contact your vendor and tell them this so they can send you the right part number for your vehicle, you want a U7186 part number.

If by "driver" you mean you bought a USB-to-Serial cable from us, you can find the Vista driver HERE

Yeah, I apologize, but this issue lies with the dealer that sent you a tool without programming it first.

ok I was able to get in touch with Customer service at Diablo, but no luck with the dealer I purchased the unit from.
Here is my story.
Purchased it from RPM, Who was Preditors recomended dealer to purchase from because you where out of stock when I ordered.
They shipped me the product without tuning it for my vehicle.
10hrs into trying to figure out why it wont communicate with my lap top to load the LMM program i get no where.
Now I finally get in contact with someone and find out my unit needs to be sent back to the dealer I purchased it from to have it programmed.
Well I have called them and its going to take weeks if I ever get it back, or rather If there phone will work and we can reach them to begin with.
Your dept gave me number of local dealer who could reflash my box with the proper program for my LMM but they want 50 bucks to do it.
I didnt spend 400+ for a tuner 40 bucks for download software to have to chase a ghost for two fricken days or to drive to another shop to have them flash the oem code in my box.
RPM is your supporting dealer, THERE SERVICE IS A JOKE AND NOW YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!!

Little history about me. I am well respected in the Tuning world for efi turbo gas tuning. People talk to me all day long asking me advice about products for everything you can emagine.
I purchased this product because i didnt want to spend the time to tune my truck with EFI live. I wanted Plug and Play.
What I got was a 400+ dollar NIGHTMARE.
I already know that ITs going to take me weeks to months if ever to get my return out of RPM, NO way in hell will I spend more of my hard earned money to have another dealer program this or am I willing to wait any longer to get it reprogrammed by you.
2 weeks or more money waisted on rapid shipping just isnt an option.
So I am going to pick up the phone order EFI live system and throw the POS blue box on the back shelf with all the rest of the worthless items I have purchased over the last 10yrs that only make broken promisses.
I HOLD DIABLO RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE THEY REFERED ME TO RPM AS THERE BIGGEST DEALER!!!!!!!
So if thats your biggest dealer that you recommend, I want no part of you or any of your products ever. And I wont sleep at night if I was to refer someone to use your products, Even though your tech support was very nice, My problem didnt get fixed or go away and you support a dealer that is what I would call a criminal.
When you let bean counters run the company and not your pride and commitment, sooner or later you run out of beans to count.
