GT500 rpm drop

whats up with the delayed rpm drop after you tune the 2008 GT500's. even during normal driving when u get off the gas the rpms pause at 2000 for a couple seconds before slowly dropping back down to normal... any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Please list all your mods, the tune used and the current revision on your Predator.

2008 GT500 with C&L CAI. im using the 7145. i dont know what revision is on it but if it helps its the one with out C&L, all it has is KN tunes.. other than that the car is all stock, i think its a common thing thats happening in the shelby's

Yeah I am having the same problem with the idle hanging. I thought it was because of the large whipple throttle body, but I am starting think maybe there is a software issue, as now I have another gt500 without the huge throttle body and it has a similar problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It is a software issue, i have have same problem with a 180 stat and a ford racing cai. tom

The K&N tune does not have enough fuel for the C&L intake. You need a custom tune to address that and the hanging idle. Contact me through the link in my email and I can take care of that for you.

i have hang time on my truck @3000 rpms fyi
