Still having an issue with the proper TCM reset procedure.

Again, I'm new to this so bear with my feeble questions...
Well I tried the TCM reset and again nowhere is it saying to cycle the key. The procedure was as follows:
Tune Type: Quick adjust
Modify Parameters: Transmission
Transmission: Reset TCM Adapter
Reset TCM?: Yes
Updated / press continue / back to reset...
Then I pressed the esc button to the beginning menu, and pulled out of the socket...
Is this the correct procedure?
