2-3* of KR at WOT 5k+ RPM

Hello all,
I've got a 2000 Trans Am M6, with intake, long tubes, and full 3" exhaust. I installed the performance tune, and have been modifying it to get my fuel trims locked. At WOT, they lock in at 0, and at a steady 60mph cruise, they're at -1.86 to -.76. I'm not sure what they're supossed to be at idle, but mine usually hover at around -8 to -10. I live in CO, where the altitude is ~6500 feet, and the highest ocane gas available is 91. Anyway, at WOT, everything is fine (no KR) until about 5000 rpms and on. I've seen blips of 2-3 degrees. I also hear "pinging" then too. I've retarded timing 15% and I still get the same 2-3*. Could this be false knock? Should I try some octane booster and see if it goes away? I've also heard I need a custom tune for LT headers...
Thanks in advance!
