We only have 92 octane gas where I live. What tune will be the best for my SRT Magnum the 91 or 93 or does it matter?
I am currently using the 93/CAI Tune and it is working great. But would there be a unseen advantage/disadvantage to change to the 91?

RE: 93 octane or 91 tune for 92 gas
With the 93CAI, your knock censors may pull timining if they detect any detonation.... I have found that the 93CAI tune is very fussy about the quality and octance level of your fuel. It can also vary from tank to tank depending on where you buy your gas, ambient air temperatures, etc. You should really run some logs and see if there is any knock detected. I have heard that if your knock retard is more than 5 degrees, you are defeating the tune because the timing retard is reducing your hp. I am still learning myself but if anyone at DS wants to correct me or add/modify anything I've said, please do

Hey mikel... looks like rumours of your demise have been greatly exaggerrated. Glad to see you are still with us. I was browsing the Ford Diesel forum. Tough Crowd.

No... you should log first and see what it looks like. Then maybe adjust it to eliminate the KnR if you have it. Then try the 91 CAI tune and adjust it the other way until just before you get knock. Then see which one gives you the best results
