Predator Tuner for a complete noob
I drive a '07 SRT-8 Charger with a DUB CAI and Magnaflow exhaust and wanted to buy this tuner but I don't know anything about tuning so I was wondering how easy is the Predator for a noob like myself? From what I read on the home page all I have to do is download the HEMI tune and latest version of the software, choose the 91 octane CAI performance tune, connect the predator to the diagnostic port, save the stock settings first, then upload the new tune and that's it! When I read the posts on the forum I noticed people are manually adjusting certain settings because their car's not running right. I don't want to deal with any of that. I just want a plug and play tune that I won't have to worry about. If I do everything I mentioned above will I have a problem free car or is this whole thing unpredictable?

Well we have made it as easy as possible for noobs and advanced users. Follow on screen prompts and your fine.
There should be nothing you should need to adjust when using your setup and the CAI tunes. Maybe if you want to raise the shift points but thats easy.

I had the same reservations when I purchased my predator. It is easy to install and hard to mess up. Then as you learn more, you can play around with custom tuning. Do it and you will not regret.

Ya, I'm pretty sure I'll get a hang of it after using it a couple of times but I read a few posts about how the new updates are giving people problems with shifting so I was a little concerned with that. From what I've read it sounds like the majority of people are happy with the tuner but a few of them are running into problems. I'm going to make my decision today whether or not to invest in this tuner so any encouragement from you guys would help. Thanks in advance.johan wrote:Well we have made it as easy as possible for noobs and advanced users. Follow on screen prompts and your fine.
