I have an I-1000 that I bought 5 years ago and have not tried updating until yesterday. I want to use it on my 2014 GMC with 5.3 (decided to wait until warranty was expired before tuning). When I plugged the I-1000 into my PC with Update-Agent 1.0 running it first told me 7 files/updates were available. It took me several tries to get the updates completed. On second attempt it told me there were 5 updates available so I tried updating again. On third try it told me 3 updates were available and on 3rd try it completed but messages on I-1000 appeared saying " The Current firmware revision (1r03x) cannot be replaced by the firmware package within group_update1_0" and "Failed to install "group_update1.itfg".

My question is even though the Update Agent 1.0 program on last attempt told me updates were complete, I am wondering does it matter that the I-1000 gave me these 2 exception messages? Is it all up to date and ready to tune?

load this to the intune drive then run update agent again and it should be good to go.
