06 GTO Pred problem, Car dead

Using my 05-06 GTO LS2 programmer, I currently have a dead car.

The revision in the programmer is 7r92, I know 7r93 and 7r95 are can damage PCM's of GM's.

How can I get my car runnning again?

try putting the stock tune back in and see if that works. if this works there is a problem with the tune if not its your car.

Doesnt work, I think I somehow managed to not backup the 06 factory tune, and damaged the current tune, and the backup is for a 05 so it will not tune it.

Any suggestions? Also have a thread over at ls1gto.com

Am I reading this right? You have an 2006 car and you think you have a 2005 stock tune in the programmer? How is that possible? Was this programmer used on a different vehicle? If it was used on a different vehicle if would have to be unlocked from that vehicle. There are some programmers that can't be unlocked unless sent back to Diablo (not sure if yours is one of them), hopefully someone that knows will chime in here.

You may have to get in touch with customer service tomorrow AM to see if they can help out. Mike or Johan are on the forums here and may have some help as well.

im pretty sure I unlocked it from my old 05 that was totaled.

go into OPTIONS > TROUBLESHOOTING > LAST TUNE WRITTEN and see what it says... if you did restore the original backup to your previous car, then it should say "original backup".

if it doesn't, then the tool is still locked to your other car.

so, what does it say is the last tune written??

If i recall the r92 had issues with 06 gto's, you should give our tech guys a call.
I have a feeling that you will have to send us the pcm and predator to solve this.

Mikel- I am using 7r92 revision. Close but not it so I saw no problem.

Johan- Just got off the phone with tech support and you told him yourself, sending pcm and programmer in.

Hope you can get me running, the goat is dead sitting.

Update?
The update is to not use anything prior to 7r95 on any 06 vehicle, or it will likely need to be reflashed at the dealer to fix it.
