U7170 Programing problem

I have a problem, my battery went bad and so I disconceted it. And hooked the power back up, well later on in the week i wanted to change the program setting from tow tune to economy it said that the original was not saved, so when I went to back it up it doesn't work. i cant program anything! please help!
