johan, i am wanting to play with the predator, but after returning truck to stock with smarty the predator says that truck is not on file,call dealer for free update? is this something you can help me with or someone else? 12305051AI thank you!!!

I had the same issue. I had the predator, tried the smarty, and then went back to the predator. The predator, in my opinion, is much better than the smarty on the 555 motors.
But, the smarty software is newer than the diablo software. I had the same AI issue that you are having. Basically, smarty is at dodge calibration level AI, where the diablo is somewhere around AH I believe. What I had to do was find somebody with an old power pup and load and unload it onto my truck. That put me back to AH calibration, which allowed the predator to work again.
When I called about the AI cal, they said it would be supported sometime in the future. No ETA.

If you can, try the predator. The RKL tunes kick butt on the 555s, and the predator costs 1/2 as much as the smarty. Too much smarty hype, it is getting old.

You guys are using the latest revisions?
If so we will need to add those calids, unfortunately our work load at the moment is extremely high so i could not give an ETA on that right now.

yes Johan i am on the 8r30, if that helps. so you can fix it then when you have a minute or is it a pretty long process? i have heard that the predator is better than the smarty on the 555's motors. I AM WANTING TO TRY IT!!!!!!!!!

i am on 9r01.. just bought my predator (again.. argh shouldn't of sold it!). won't support AI yet.

Is the 9r01 basically just for updated calids to support latest Dodge jargon? I haven't seen any info on what exactly it is for. I believe mine is on R30.

I haven't been on here in a while, but I am happy to say it is great to see Johan, Mike and the rest seem to be around and replying to threads more than last time I visited.

The 9r01 was all internal updates, nothing was changed in the tool for the user.

Is it suggested that everybody download this, or was it to repair an issue that a select few were having?

It was only internal s/w changes in the predator os itself, no tune changes, no menu changes only stuff behind the scenes.
Going from r30 to 9r01 will not make any difference other than changing the rev number on the main screen.

No not yet, i am bogged down in a major GM update we are doing.

is the duramax easeir to tune than the cummins,gm has had a user tuned program for years and the smarty is just doing it now.preset tunes are cool but user defined parameters===== pricelessss
