have 2004 f 250 fx4 130000 mi my friend gave me a diable sport,tuner. When running through the motions it says the feature is not availble for this vehicle . WHY NOT what does this mean?

Is this a diesel? U7165 Predator?
If so, it needs to be updated to the latest revision.
