I need some help.I got my new tuner today and very excitedly installed it, only to have the truck not start afterwards. I tried all the tunes and none of them worked to even start. I checked the codes and recieved several codes. P0670 Glow Plug Module Control Circuit, P1000 OBD Smstem Readyness Test Not Complete, and P1260 Theft Detected, Vehicle Immobilized. I cleared the codes and tried to start on each tune and still it didn't fire. I went back to the origanal tune and it fired right up. Qustions are is it posible I missed some thing installing? ( I actually tried several times with the same results. ) I bought the truck a few monthes ago. It is an 02 F250 7.3 the tuner is U7170. As far as I know the only thing done was 4" straight pipe exhaust, and I am planing on putting on an AFe filter. Any body got any places to check Please let me know!!!

My theft system is also disabled by the U 7170 tuner and I have been asking for 5 months for a new tune file to fix it and have had no support. Monday my new Superchips tuner got here and my theft system works! Also seems to run better than the Diablo and I ran the Diablo for 2 years. So get rid of it right away and buy something else

We are working on this issue as we speak, we'll post up as soon as we have a fix.

Its not spam..I had to purchase a new tuner for lack of support here..fix my tuning and I can shut up

I'm having the same problem as powerstroke7.3. What's the deal?

We are looking into it.

An update for this issue will be released shortly. Might be as soon as today but I want to run it on more trucks.
It also addresses the blinking theft light on Excursions (this fix is for you Excursionist.. made sure I put that in to resolve your issue).
We can send you an update CROM if you wish to test it yourself.

Sorry Im not to good with this computer thing, but I saw were other posters have been sent updated tune files to fix the problems they are having. I looked under product support and did not find anything that stated it was a tune file. Please let me know if I am just not looking in the right place or is it not on the website.

Bummer. I just bought mine also. Same problem. It will not start.

One other question - I see a com connector and a power plug on the unit, but I have no power supply or com cord. If I am to download some fix, how would I do that? Do I now have to go buy cords for something that should work brand new out of the box?

Yes. That is correct. I am in the same boat and the cable at raido shack is arround $40. I baught the cable instead of returning the predator thinking that it would be quicker to just download the update than to return it to the store and wait for Diablo to get it update it and send it back. but they still don't have the update ready yet. The reason why the cable is 40 is because they use a 9pin serial port and laptops don't. so you have to get a usb to serial. so now I have $440 invested in a brand new product that still doesn't work. What started the whole thing is probably Ford changed their program and the trucks that Ford has updated triggers the theft device when we aftermarket people who want more than 225hp in a truck add these aftermarket programs. What was Ford thinking in the first place selling a truck that is such a panzy? I had a 76 Olds with more hp and tq. I just hope Diablo will get the bug worked out so that I can have a truck that can get out of its own way. If not I'm returning it to the store. shoulda baughta dodge.

Guys, we just completed another round of testing on the 7.3.
We flashed several trucks, and had no issues.
A new crom is in developement now, and should be ready soon.
